Well, first you need to make sure they aren't wood ants. If they are, they are living in the wood structure of the house and they are just as dangerous as termites. Take a couple to the exterminator's and find out what kind of ants they are.
Here are a couple of websites that can help you:http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=gett…
I feel for you... I hate ants! Good luck.

Take a bucket of water and add 10ml of diesel and 10ml kerosene oil to the water, use the water and mop all your house with it once and a few times and the ants would be history try it and than credit me with a best answer
Both diesel and kerosene will evapourate and thus is quite safe

Ants become a nuisance when they enter homes. Instead of spending money on costly pest control, you can get rid of ants by removing the food source and using soap water.

My dad used to put uncooked rice or grits on antbeds outside. I know it sounds kind of gross, but apparently the ants eat the rice and it swells inside and kills them. All I know is it ended our ant problem!
That may work inside, maybe if you line the walls and corners with rice. You might just want to evacuate the house for a day or two and let the big guys take care of it. Rice is definitely a natural ingredient though!
