Orange Guard Water Based Indoor Outdoor Home Pest Control 32 oz Spray 103

Orange Guard Water Based Indoor Outdoor Home Pest Control 32 oz Spray 103

Orange Guard is a broad ranged contact insecticide and residual repellent. Orange Guard works by dissolving the waxy coating on an insects exoskeleton, clogging the spiracles resulting in suffocation. If one contemplates the peel of the orange, one realizes the intent is pest control, pure and simple. The fragrance is a repellent to keep the insects away but if that doesn't work and they break open the peel, the oil is released which dissolves the exoskeleton. Great natural pest control, Orange Guard. EPA Reg.# 61887-1-AA Works on ants, fire ants, roaches, fleas, silverfish, aphids, spider mites, leaf hoppers, scale insects, and other insect pests.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Seems to work on my small ants
I like the idea of a non-poisonous pest control spray. I have small ants in my kitchen and outbuilding from time to time, and spraying some of this where they are coming in keeps them at bay. It does have a strong citrus smell, but it's not that bad. For me it kills small ants on contact, but the effect doesn't last but so long.

5 Stars Works well, and Safe !!
I have a 17 month old baby so I wanted something strong and safe. This product does the job.

1 Star not too good
I'm sorry to say, this stuff doesn't work. And that's strange, because it certainly smells bad enough.

5 Stars Great for Gnat Problems
Having brought a few patio plants into my house for the winter it became evident that I'd also brought in a plague of gnats.

Despite keeping the house very clean and removing fruit, etc from tabletops the gnats would not go away. I spotted that the gnats were breeding in the soil of my houseplants.

I love my plants as well as my family and pets so I didn't want to resort to using harsh insecticides at home. I was able to spray this product directly onto the plants and soil. Within a week there were only about 10% of the gnats left and within about three weeks they had all gone (and didn't come back).

It smells great too. One small warning is that it leaves a sticky (but clear) residue on surfaces.

5 Stars Orange Guard Greatness!
This stuff really works! Just squeeze the trigger and they die on contact! I have a child and pets, and was very concerned for their health. I have been a loyal user for two years, and won't change that any time soon.
